HydroBID Water simulation tool
This integrated system simulates water flow in basins using a hydrographic database for Latin America and the Caribbean.
It consists of an integrated system for the simulation of water flow in basins with a hydrographic database for the Latin American and Caribbean region. Part of the benefits of using this tool is its applicability in areas where there is a shortage of data, the possibility of accessing a technical support center and the constant updating of the system that is expanded with modules that allow its integration with other systems. in order to be able to evaluate more scenarios in the study basins, and which is also an open source in order to promote development in the region. In the agricultural sector, the tool is useful because it optimizes the planning, management and use of water and land to meet the growing demand for food production.
